Where should you start your child with Milestone Maths?
Our comprehensive placement test will help you place your child in the program.
Just starting out?
Answer the following questions:
- Is your child at least 6 years old?
- Can your child count to 10?
- Does your child recognise the written symbols for the numbers 1-10?
If you answered yes to all three questions, your child is ready for level B and should start at Book B1.
If you have a 4-5 year old, you may wish to start on our optional Level A. (It’s coming soon! Join our mailing list below to be one of the first to know when it launches.)
Have a special case?
For Older or Struggling Students: Milestone Maths is designed to be engaging, not condescending. If your student needs a “fresh start” to build confidence, we usually recommend beginning at Milestone Four of Level B (in Book B1), regardless of age.
Using Milestone Maths After School: We recommend starting one level below their current school grade to fill any “hidden gaps” and build fluency.
