Milestone Maths

Open and go — Most parents just hand their child the workbook. Within weeks, many kids are working independently.

Portable — Self-contained workbooks with a lay-flat spiral binding make maths portable. As one customer said, we’re “perfect for road school!”

Works for neurodivergent learners — Short, multi-sensory lessons designed to reduce friction, not add to it.

Real-world maths, not abstract theory — Built from Year 1 to calculus by an engineer who uses maths in the real world. Your child learns the “why” alongside the “how.”

Clean layout, no distraction — Parents consistently comment that lessons are “clear and easy to follow.”

Grows with your family — One new level released each year, building towards Year 12. You’ll never need to switch curriculum.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I place my child?

Since Milestone Maths is a mastery based curriculum, accurate placement is essential for success.

Students new to schooling will begin at Level A (Foundation) or B (Year 1). For older students, we have a placement test.

How long does a MSM lesson take?

In the primary years, lessons should take between fifteen and thirty minutes to complete. Enrichment or game activities may take longer, especially if the students are enjoying them.

How much will postage cost?

We offer flat rate shipping for $9.90 Australia wide on all orders except for full year bundles which include postage in their price. If you’re in a hurry, express post is available for $20. For full details, see our shipping policy.

Do we have to do every question?

No. Students should only do as many questions in the main lesson as they need to grasp the concept (it’s OK to leave some out). All Review and Practice activities should be completed and the drills may be shortened or replaced with more interactive alternatives if preferred by you or your child.
