Milestone Maths Year 2 Workbooks for Australian Homeschoolers

Level C is perfect for average students in Year 2 with four self-contained, engaging workbooks—one for each term. Milestone Maths enables early independence so teacher material is kept to a minimum. Brief instructions for parents appear at the front of each book and answer keys can be downloaded for free on each product page. Splashes of colour and illustrations are used throughout to bring lessons to life and make concepts easier to understand. As Level C bridges Level B’s parent-led approach to self-directed learning, lesson introductions and commentary speak directly to students, with parents staying involved until students are ready to fly. Sumstix remain an essential resource in Level C, though their use is gradually reduced to avoid dependency, helping students master key foundational maths facts.

Units of work are called milestones, with each milestone focusing on one broad topic like multiplication and covering the topic from many different angles. At the end of each lesson, a “Review and Practice” section keeps old ideas fresh, deepening understanding.
