My son and I have really enjoyed this math book! I was so glad to find a minimalistic design—it’s simple and clear, making it easy for both a child and a parent to follow without feeling overwhelmed. We especially enjoyed using Sumstix for hands-on learning.
After finishing this book, my son can now quickly and confidently do addition within 10, and his number writing has improved as well.
I love the concept of milestones and building a strong foundation before moving on to harder concepts. It’s so systematic and structured—just as maths should be! 🙂 As a mother of three, I also appreciated that lessons didn’t require much prep. It was great to have both hands-on learning with the counting rods and an easy, low-prep approach. I’m so grateful to have found this book and look forward to continuing with the next ones!
